Le Marche Region

Le Marche is situated on the Eastern side of Italy and borders the Adriatic Sea.
Montegiorgio is North East of Rome and South East of Florence and only 30 minutes from both the stunning Sibillini Mountains and the beautiful coastal resort of Porto San Giorgio

There are a number of beautiful coastal resorts worth visiting.
Porto San Giorgio is a short drive and is great for shopping and known for its excellent fish restaurants.
The main square is tree lined and on an evening you can sit and watch the Italian's strolling around with their families.
The beach is superb with soft white sands and the blue Adriatic sea.
Further North on the coast towards Ancona are the beautiful villages of Numana and Sirolo.
Here you can stroll around the local pretty fishing harbour or spend time in one of the stunning coves sunbathing and relaxing.
South of Porto San Giorgio is the coastal resort of San Benedetto del Tronto where the streets are lined with over 10,000 palm trees. The drive to Porto San Gorgio from San Benedetto del Tronto is breathtaking and hugs the coast.
There are many places of interest to visit that are within a 20 mile radius that include the historic towns of Macerata and Ascoli Piceno and the wonderful villages of Monte San Martino, Sarnano, San Gensio, Urbisaglia and Falerone.
